Walter Williams recently published an article that strikes at the heart of American intellectual apathy as it relates to their government. Those frustrated by the call that "government should do something" are the very same who place congressional approval ratings in the single digits. Far from an interesting observational factoid, Williams points out something at the root of our philosophical apathy that is well worth the read.
