For those lamenting the disconnect between parents and teachers, this editor has come across a voice in the wilderness. It was a simple and refreshing joy to read a piece authored by someone who genuinely seeks to combine creativity with a thorough understanding of educational concepts.
Although my own daughter is not yet of school age, Ms. Burgess allowed me to easily connect the guidance in this article to what seems to be a very regular occurrence.
