Nazism = Communism = Totalitarianism

Posted on Sunday 20 November @ 20:00:18
Philosophy George Reisman, noted Professor of Economics and scholar of capitalism and its beneficial effects on civilization throughout history, has recorded a free lecture from the Ludwig von Mises Institute. His lecture drives toward two main points: (1) to demonstrate why Nazi Germany was a socialist state, not a capitalist one; and (2) to show why socialism, understood as an economic system based on government ownership of the means of production, positively requires a totalitarian dictatorship. This is a fascinating, and unwavering, view of philosophy in action.
